Week 2 Preview - Who doesn't love seven hours of football coverage?

After an exciting first week to the season the Extravaganza will setup shop at Hancock Stadium for the Intercity Double Header! We start pregame at 3:45 for Central Catholic vs U-High and then get things started all over again around 7:30 for Normal Community vs Bloomington. After the first game we'll still get our previews from around the area of other games that we're at this week. 

One of those games include a great Heart of Illinois matchup as Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland heads to Lexington. Both teams are coming off impressive wins. We'll also have reports from Normal West as the Wildcats host Decatur Eisenhower. Plus, we'll be talking about Ridgeview at El Paso-Gridley and Tri-Valley at Dee-Mack. Over on 98.9 WJEZ, Mark Myre and the crew will have Olympia at Pontiac.

Week 1 Preview - I can already smell the porkchops!

After sweating it out in two-a-day practices and getting to tackle the same running back in the same color jersey over and over again. It is finally time to take the field and play some football! Every coach we talked to this week mentioned how they were ready to play a game. I think I speak for the entire Extravaganza crew that we are looking forward to it as well! Two feature games this week. On WJBC AM-1230 catch Central Catholic at Metamora. Over on WJBC FM 93.7 we step into the Heart of Illinois as Fieldcrest heads to Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland. You can listen online to either game too, just find the right banner on the top of WJBC.com.
